Hadrian’s Wall Ultra Run Challenge – Will they run along the wall or hit it?

On June 22nd, Chapel St’s Phil Bywater (Finance Manager) and Russell Rook (CEO), will be lacing up their trail shoes to take on a gruelling, two-day, 69 mile, running challenge along Hadrian’s Wall: The Wall Ultra Run.

Their run wil start at Carlisle Castle and finish at the Gateshead Millennium Bridge in Newcastle, taking in a mixed-terrain route of both on and off-road sections. Both Russell and Phil have run marathons in the past to raise money for charity – but this year’s Ultra Run will see them take their efforts to another level.

The pair are running in support of the Chapel St Community Fund. Funds they raise will help Chapel St develop extra community projects to run alongside our schools, including student coaching, enrichment programmes and activities that involve families and the broader community.
