Project profile: Health centre

Link Line is a telephone support, domestic and errand service. The service provides care on the phone and to the home. The purpose of the project is to assist people with every day living and enable people to continue to live independently.

Link Line's telephone support is available 24 hours, seven days a week. The project calls clients regularly each week to ensure people feel listened to and supported. Link Line also provides assistance with cleaning, DIY, gardening, shopping trips and medical appointments.

Link Line is an important service in providing extra care and enabling isolated people feel more connected to their community.

The project is a non-profit social enterprise and has backing from the Big Lottery during implementation phase. It is run by Chapel St's Health Company.
