VOLUNTEER BADGE

Volunteering Opportunities:

Mentoring Volunteering with MumPlusMum: Could you be one of our mentors on our MumPlusMum project? MumPlusMum is a mentoring network that supports mums to be and new mums. We connect mums with mums, to provide friendly support and a listening ear. If you are based in South West London and are a mum with at least three years parenting experience, you could help support another mum. We give 8 hours of quality mentoring training to everyone that volunteers with us.

For more information email mumplusmum@chapelst.org or visit our web site.

Telephone care and support with Link Line

Link Line is a telephone support and errand service in Fulham. The project is looking for volunteers who can make telephone calls to people to make them feel connected and cared about. By giving a few hours of your time each week you could improve the lives of others in the West London area who are isolated or need a helping hand to maintain their quality of life and independence. There are also volunteer opportunities to visit people in their homes to chat to them, accompany them to medical appointments, or assess how they could benefit from help with domestic chores and errands.

For more information please get in touch with the Link Line project managers Fran Asaipillai or Sam Holmes on 020 3667 6778 for an initial chat about getting involved, or visit our web site for more information.
