Chapel St are recruiting for a dynamic, energetic and experienced Project Director to implement, launch and lead an exciting new project making change happen in community health.
Happy Healthy Fulham is a social enterprise initiative being developed by Chapel St in Fulham. The goal is to improve health and wellbeing for the elderly, vulnerable adults, teenagers and young families.
As Project Director, your role is to implement, launch and lead this project. A large aspect of the programme will be to create a 24-hour telecare programme that provides social interaction and support in the community, based on the award winning Link Line model.
The project will also focus on engaging and supporting young mothers, connecting new parents with others in their community and providing mentoring and support in areas of parenting and family life.
Happy Healthy Fulham will be funded by a grant awarded by the Big Lottery Fund. As Project Director, you will manage a full-time project worker and part-time administrator, as well as having responsibility for recruiting a large team of community volunteers and mentors.
This demanding and rewarding role will suit someone with good leadership and management capability. You will need to be able to apply your diverse skill set competently to a community and volunteering context, with particular emphasis on business planning, project management, recruitment and marketing.

Happy Healthy Fulham is run alongside the Cassidy Road Medical Centre and Health Hub. This centre provides full GP and extra health services in the community of Fulham. It is an NHS practice, delivered through a partnership of Chapel St and The Hurley Group.
