Together You Can Helping Young Adults into Training and Employment
Together You Can [TYC] is a transformational programme aimed at individuals who aspire to develop sustainable careers. The initiative is delivered by Grenfell Housing and Training in partnership with Chapel St and the YMCA.
TYC supports individuals who are 18-25 and are long term unemployed or receiving Job Seekers Allowance (JSA). The project aims to support these individuals through the often difficult transition from benefits dependence to sustained employment or full time education/training. The project seeks to enable each individual to shape their own journey and ultimately their own outcome.
Often, individuals accessing entry level employment opportunities receive low level and low value training. TYC allows young adults access to top quality training and development, with mentoring and support from leaders in the private, public and third sectors.
