Chapel St and the Atherton Community Consortium move to business case stage for a Free School in Atherton, Lancashire

Over the past months Chapel St has been working with Community Leaders to propose a new community school. Following an invitation from the Secretary of State for Education Chapel St are developing a final business case and implementation plan to launch our first community school. This school will be situated in Atherton, Lancashire and will be launched in September 2012. Chapel St and the Atherton Community Consortium have been working with hundreds of families, teachers, leaders and community members to develop a brand new school to transform the lives of children, families and the wider community.
